The stick game is a game of strategy and risk-taking. Here is a description and the rules of the game using 16 sticks.

Objective

The aim of the game is to avoid removing the last stick.

Rules of the Game:

Preparation

1. **Arrangement of the sticks**:
- Arrange the 16 wooden sticks side by side in a straight line on a flat surface.

Gameplay

1. **Game Turn**:
- The players play simultaneously and must decide how many sticks to remove each turn.
- During each turn, a player can remove 1, 2 or 3 sticks from the line.
- The players take turns removing the sticks. The game continues until there are no more sticks left to remove.

2. **Restrictions**:
- A player cannot remove more than 3 sticks per turn.
- Players must always remove at least one stick on each turn.

Conditions for Victory

- The player who is forced to remove the last stick loses the game.
- The previous player, the one who forced the other player to take the last stick, is declared the winner.

Strategy

- **Anticipation**: Players must anticipate the opponent's movements so as not to find themselves forced to take the last stick.
- **Risk Taking**: Taking more sticks may sometimes be necessary to avoid finding oneself in an unfavorable situation, but this also carries risks.

- This game is simple to set up and can be played by two or more players.
- It develops strategic thinking and the ability to anticipate the actions of other players.
